What is a PBwiki Account?
A PBwiki Account is your personal portal to wikis. It allows you to organize and manage your wikis, whether you have one wiki or one hundred. Because this is a new system, not all current PBwiki users have a PBwiki Account. Go ahead and sign up by going to my.pbwiki.com.
How do I create my PBwiki Account?
To sign up for your account, simply go to http://my.pbwiki.com and click "Sign up" or just click on this link: https://my.pbwiki.com/?p=create. Enter your name, e-mail address and password to get signed up.
What if I don't get my confirmation e-mail? How can I resend it?
If you don't get your confirmation e-mail, check your spam/bulk/junk mail folders. If you still can't find it, go to http://my.pbwiki.com and try to create an account again. You'll be given the option to resend your confirmation e-mail.
If you are on a network with a particularily strong spam filter you may need to talk to you IT administrator and ask them to whitelist emails from the pbwiki domain.
How do I add an email?
To add an email address to your PBwiki Account, just sign in at http://my.pbwiki.com and click the "Email" tab, then add your email address. We'll send the original account e-mail address a verification email before we actually attach it to your account.
How do I delete an email?
Just sign into your PBwiki Account at http://my.pbwiki.com, click the "Email" tab, and remove your e-mail address.
How do I change my PBwiki Account Password?
To change your PBwiki Account password, simply log into your PBwiki Account, Click on the "Email" tab, and look for "Change your password." Fill out this area and you're all set.
What image types and sizes can I upload for my profile picture?
You can upload .jpg, .png or .gif files under 200KB
I have wiki access through multiple e-mail addresses. Anything I can do to make signing in easier?
Just go to http://my.pbwiki.com and create a PBwiki Account. Once you've created an account, simply click on the email tab and add any other email addresses you might have wiki access with. One stop sign in is great!
What's OpenID and how can I use it?
PBwiki recently added support for OpenID. What does this mean for you? It means that you no longer need to remember yet another password to log into your PBwiki account.
To Add
Create a PBwiki Account (or log into your existing PBwiki Account) at http://my.pbwiki.com. Click on the "profile" tab, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and add your OpenID. Click "Save" and you'll be forwarded to OpenID. Click the "Verify forever" button to verify your OpenID use on PBwiki.
If you don't already have a PBwiki Account you can enter your OpenID information first to easily prepopulate the registration process.
To Use
Click on the OpenID logo on the login page. Or visit my.pbwiki.com/openid to log in to PBwiki with your OpenID.
To Erase
Just scroll down to the OpenID page on your PBwiki Account, delete the OpenID from the text box, and click "Save."
How can I change my notification settings?
To change your notification settings, log into your PBwiki Account and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Here you can change your preferences to never, or a series of different increments.
How do I disable notifications for a wiki?
To disable notifications for a wiki, take a look at your list of wikis. You'll see a checkbox that will allow you to enable or disable notifications. If the box is checked, notifications are going out. If the box is unchecked, notifications will not be sent.
I'm not getting notifications for a wiki. How can I get them back?
First, check to make sure the wiki is being edited. This may be a silly thing to ask, but it happens sometimes, honest. Next, log into your PBwiki Account at http://my.pbwiki.com and make sure the "Enable Notifications" checkbox is checked. Check your notifications settings to make sure your preference isn't set to "Never." Finally, check your spam/junk/bulk mail folders to make sure the messages aren't being sent there.

How do I add existing wikis to my PBwiki Account?
Usually, this is only an issue for PBwiki 1.0 wikis. Please see this page to add a 1.0 wiki to your PBwiki Account.

If you need to add a 2.0 wiki to your account, it either belongs to someone else, or you've created it using a different PBwiki Account.
If it belongs to someone else, ask to be invited as a "User" by the owner of the wiki. They must invite you by going into their "Settings" and then the "Users" page and entering the email address that you have used for your PBwiki Account.
If you created the wiki using a different PBwiki Account, go to http://my.pbwiki.com, log out, then log into the account that owns the wiki. Once there, you'll have to "invite" yourself using the email address of the account that you need to add your wiki to.
How do I leave a wiki?
Just log into your PBwiki Account at http://my.pbwiki.com and click on the "Leave this wiki" icon on the main page. This removes all access to the wiki - the wiki owner will need to invite you again if you'd like access in the future.
Why can't I leave some of my wikis?
You can only leave wikis that you are *not* an administrator of. If you are the wiki admin, you'll need to either transfer admin ownership over to another user or delete the wiki.

Login Problems
Incorrect Password
If you get a message that you have an incorrect password when logging in with your PBwiki Account, make sure you typed your password properly - Passwords are CaSe sEnSiTiVe :)
Access to Wiki
If you get the "You don't have access to this wiki" error message, use the "Contact the wiki Owner" link to email the wiki owner to ask for access, or use the Request Access button.
What Happened to Invite Keys?
In early 2006, PBwiki introduced a new concept: PBwiki Identities, renamed in early 2007 to Accounts. Users who created Accounts could log into their Pbwiki Account at my.pbwiki.com and have access to all their wikis - no need to remember individual invite keys for each wiki.
